Allison E. Bond is an assistant professor at the New Jersey Gun Violence Research Center in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health at Rutgers University. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Rutgers University – New Brunswick and completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Bond has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles on gun violence and suicide prevention and has secured grant funding to support her research. She is also deeply committed to science communication, working to disseminate research beyond academia and into the communities most affected by gun violence and suicide.
